El Cuarteto de Nos formed in the year 1980. In the same year they performed together for the first time in the Theatro El Tinglado. This performance was instrumental only.
At the same time, and while searching for their own musical style, they played at the Teatro La Máscara, in El Circular, in the Teatro de la Alianza Francesa. Following these presentations the label Ayuí proposes to record their first (half) album, which would be shared with Alberto Wolf.
